I feel like I’m really lucky to live in a large metroplex with unlimited opportunities in my areas of interest. This past weekend I was fortunate to be able to attend The Makeup Show Dallas. This was my third time attending and I was blown away once again. The Makeup Show is different from most of the other makeup shows. This is open to professionals only. This includes makeup artists, aestheticians, cosmetologists and students in theses areas. Credentials are required for entry.
The 2016 Makeup Show in Dallas brought together over 4000 attendees to learn, network and shop. There were an abundance of seminars and keynote presentations from some of the makeup industry’s leading artists. The list included Reggie Wells, Gregory Arlt, James Vincent, Lori Taylor, Roshar and many others. The show’s educational and inspiring seminars were led by artists from top makeup brands including Smashbox Cosmetics, Inglot Cosmetics, Temptu Pro and Make Up For Ever.
James Vincent led a blogger and press preview on Saturday morning. He discussed the highlights of this year’s show. He’s an amazing makeup artist with a long long list of credentials that wow you. He then went over his list of current favorite beauty products and gave us all a bag that included these products. Be watching my blog for reviews on some of these products as well as a BIG giveaway which will include several of these as well.
The Makeup Show now moves on to Chicago. You folks are lucky! I wish I was moving on with the show so I could attend more classes and seminars. Check the Makeup Show website to see if there’s a show coming to your city too.
