Are you looking for lipstick that lasts all day? Join the crowd! I personally am always on the hunt for my dream product of long lasting lip color, whether it be lipstick, lip gloss or lip stain. I usually forget to reapply my lip products throughout the day. Therefore, having a long lasting lipstick is pretty important to me. I recently received a few of the long lasting lipsticks from Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics.
The Osmosis line of products are all “DOCTOR DEVELOPED + CLINICALLY PROVEN + NATURAL SOLUTIONS.” The entire line was founded by Dr Ben Johnson, MD. They have some wonderful and effective skincare products as well as mineral makeup and cosmetics. I highly recommend you explore their website. I personally will be purchasing additional products soon.
The Osmosis lipstick products are available online at Dermstore and cost is $22 each. You can also go to the Osmosis website and search for a location where products are sold near you. The collection is described as follows:
Designed for all skin tones, each irresistibly creamy lipstick supplies a veil of color that lasts through the day without the drying effects of most long wear color. The vegetable based castor oil provides this eco-friendly hydration, keeping moisture close to the skin’s surface. Each shade’s advanced mineral pigment color gives these lipsticks their intense vibrancy along with a matte, cashmere soft finish. Silica helps to affix these lush longevity pigments on the lips with no feathering or smearing, while green tea and vitamin E supply antioxidant protection. Perfect for day or night, each beautiful sleek tube will fit easily into any purse or pocket.
The lipstick line is available in eight shades and offers a matte, cashmere soft finish for all day wear. I tried 3 different colors: Fist Kiss, Passion and Sassy.
These lipsticks feel nice on my lips. They are not heavy and don’t feel drying. They are highly pigmented and last for hours for me. I personally didn’t love the color First Kiss on me. It had a slightly cakey look on my lips on its own, possibly due to my skin tone. It looked much better when I applied a gloss over it. The colors Passion and Sassy were a huge hit for me. They both lasted all day long, first as a lipstick and drying down to a stain later in the day. I prefer the bolder and brighter colors and highly recommend them.
