I don’t know about you, but I need to change up my hair routine and hair styles a bit with the change of seasons. As you may recall, I’ve been using the new John Frieda Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ products on my hair for the past few weeks to enhance my brunette color and to deepen it a bit. It’s been working like a charm!
It’s been nice to be able to skip expensive salon visits. I also love the convenience of using these products at home whenever I’m in the mood. The convenience factor of late night hair treatments along with the money I’ve been saving have been making me one happy lady.
I found the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Shampoo and Colour Deepening Conditioner along with the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Treatment at my local Walmart store. With my slightly darker hair color I’ve been styling my hair a bit more to show it off. Today I thought I’d share my “go to” look that is so easy to do that anybody can do it, even ladies like me who don’t feel like they’re super coordinated when it comes to styling their own hair. It’s really perfect for any length of hair and looks nice on all ages as well. You can follow my step by step tutorial below.
Step #1
Tease the front of your hair to add a little volume. You can tease all the way back to the crown if you choose. Then lightly brush over hair to smooth it out.
Step #2
Take the center section of your hair and separate it from the rest of your hair. Pull it straight back and secure it in place with a few bobby pins. Be sure to bump it up a little bit.
Step #3
Grab a small section of hair from under the pinned section and twist it. Then wrap it over the bobby pins in a horizontal fashion. Secure with bobby pins trying to hide the pins if possible. Repeat on the opposite side.
Step #4
The two sides are twisted and secured into place.
Step #5
I like to add some beachy waves with my curling wand. This gives my hair a more finished look.
