All I can say is that if it weren’t for coffee and my home coffee bar, I don’t know how I’d get through most days lately. I’m usually so busy during the daytime that I’m more than ready to get to sleep at night. However,I have the hardest time staying asleep all night. My mind is always so busy thinking about everything that I need to get done that I don’t wake up feel refreshed at all. Having a cup of coffee and a bite of a sweet treat first thing in the morning powers me up and helps get me through the day.
A few months ago I was #gifted a new coffee maker from Hamilton Beach called the Scoop Coffeemaker which prompted me to set up a coffee bar. This little machine is pretty unique in that it brews ground coffee rather than pods. It can actually brew a delicious cup of coffee in less than 90 seconds. The coffee maker has two different brew size options. It makes either an 8 ounce or 14 ounce travel mug size without using K-cup pods or disposable filters. It even has the option for a regular or a bold brew with the touch of a button.
The machine is genius and so easy to use. Simply use the scoop to measure out your favorite ground coffee, put it in the machine (no filter needed) and press start. I confess that I like my coffee sweet and creamy. I buy all sort of creamers and flavored syrups so I always have the perfect cup of coffee to go with my mood (or my food). It’s like having my own little coffee bar setup right in the corner of my kitchen.
I’m kinda feeling like a barista these days enjoying my coffee at home out on my patio in the morning. I love the sleek stainless steel design of the Scoop Coffee Maker. It’s a nice compact size that doesn’t take up too much room on my small kitchen counter. Since I no longer need to purchase pods or K-cups using this machine, I’m saving a ton of money. My cup of coffee costs me just pennies a serving and it tastes great too!
I’ve been making all sorts of little sweets to go with my morning coffee, including healthy versions of banana bread and homemade granola. Let me know if you have any good recipes to share.
Check out this pretty little coffee maker at Walmart or online so you can be a home barista too and make all sorts of quick morning creations or afternoon pick-me-ups.
