Our Last Back to College Haul

It’s back to college time! I cannot believe that this will be the last back to college experience for my household. Both of my daughters graduated from college in the past few years and now my son is going to be a college senior. Where does the time go?! Make the most of every moment mamas!! Our kids go from kindergarten to college in the blink of an eye.

We recently hit our local Walmart to do some back to college shopping. We love that it’s a one stop shop for all of our back to college needs from electronics to groceries and home decor. The electronics department is probably our favorite area in the store because we both love technology. They sell everything from televisions to tablets and laptops to smart home devices, like the Google Home Mini, and more from everyone’s favorite brands. And best of all, Walmart has affordable prices for every budget.

For my son’s last year of college he will be living in a house with some of his friends. He’s a bit of a health nut and enjoys cooking healthy meals. He likes to surf the internet looking for recipes and meal ideas. We bought a small tablet at Walmart so he can conveniently look up recipes and instructions while in the kitchen. The tablet also comes in handy for finding some quick information that may be needed for his classes. While on our mini Walmart shopping spree we also purchased some new kitchen supplies that we know will be useful for his weekly meal prep.

We purchased a compact single serve Keurig coffee maker that should come in handy after late night study sessions. It’s perfect for a quick cup of coffee and a protein bar before heading out the door. Of course we didn’t forget to purchase the usual notebooks, pens and pencils too for taking notes in class.

When you’re in a Walmart store, you can head to the electronics department to find a row of available tablets as well as many other useful items. I’m certain that they’ll have many supplies to make your college student happy. We added a few to our wish lists too!

This little tablet will also be perfect for watching movies and tv shows on the plane when traveling to and from college.
