Beauty Brands Friends and Family Sale Recommendations

Do you love makeup and skincare products?  It’s no surprise that I do.  I feel like I have a well-kept secret in Beauty Brands.  They’re a beauty retail store and salon located in several states here in the US.  However, so many people don’t know about them.  If you’ve never shopped with them in the past you really do need to start now.  They have a big Friends and Family sale going on now.  And let me tell you, their sale is so much better than Sephora or Ulta.

The Beauty Brands sale includes 25% off makeup, skincare, appliances and fragrance.  They also have 30% off haircare, bags, bath & body, nails, accessories, hair brushes and men’s products.  Yes, you read that right!   If you sign up for their rewards program you will receive emails with codes to use in their stores or online.  Your codes can only be used one time during sale week.  I do have a code at the bottom of this post that can be used for 25% off.  I’m not sure if it’s valid for the 30% off (let me know if it works for you).

They carry many of our favorite makeup brands, all of our favorites in nails and skincare and so many lines that you just need to try now.  Since it’s sale time I thought this would be a good time for me to share some of my recommendations for the Beauty Brands event since I did a huge haul there recently and also made a few more purchases a few days ago (I couldn’t help myself).

The Stila Color Balm Lipstick is high my list of recommended lip products, especially for those with dry lips or mature lips.  This has the pigment of a lipstick, yet provides shine like a gloss and contains ingredients to smooth.  I have the color Isabelle, which is perfect for everyday wear.  Of course it’s a pretty pink shade that’s perfect for all day wear.  In addition, the new Mattes and Metals eyeshadow palette is gorgeous for creating day to night looks.

 

 

Let’s talk Smashbox Cosmetics…  Beauty Brands carries 30 shades of the Be Legendary lipstick formula from Smashbox.  There are so many gorgeous shades to choose from, but my favorite is Audition (I’ve actually purchased it twice).  Here’s what they say about these lipsticks:  “This ultra creamy formula is packed with vitamins A & E, shea butter and a unique moisture complex to provide instant and long-term moisturization while saturating lips with luxurious color. With it’s super comfortable wear and lustrous finish, you’ll be ready to rock your own iconic look! Other items that I highly recommend from Smashbox are the new Power Shot Eyeshadow Palettes (reviewed here) and the Always Sharp Waterproof Liners.  If you’re young and don’t have lip lines then I highly recommend the super long wearing Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick.

A few other cosmetics brands sold at Beauty Brands are Laura Geller, Tarte, Anastasia and Too Faced.  They also have their own brand called KCO Colors.

Of course I have so many recommendations in the categories of skincare and haircare.  You can pick up a new hair dryer or flat iron.  I recently repurchased the BaByliss Nano Titanium Flat Iron.  This one’s a winner that my daughters and I have purchased a few times over the past 8 years or so.  They actually carry a value pack of the flat iron AND a curling iron for the same price.  So if you’re lucky those will be in stock when you do your shopping.  They carry some of the best salon brands of shampoo, conditioner and styling products.  I recently picked up my new favorite Wet Brush Pro in the rectangular shape at Beauty Brands as well.
