The Nordstrom Sale and Other Weekly Beauty Finds

Okay, I have to be honest with you: it has been HOT out there. Like, “why did I ever agree to walk outside in July” hot. But you know what? I stuck to my walking goals anyway, showed up for my weekly routine, and lived to tell the tale. Sometimes you just have to embrace the sweat and keep going.

My husband and I are still trying to plan our Fall trip. We usually like to travel to Europe and go on a river cruise. Right now we’re booked on an ocean cruise to see the south of Spain and Portugal, but we’re not 100% certain that’s where we want to go. We’re looking at other options, so I’ll let you know what we come up with. Let me know if you have any fun travel coming up.

I bought a few things this week including this dress that is under $40 and so versatile. It just may be the viral dress of summer. I plan to post it on my Instagram on Saturday, so keep a look out for that. I ordered this vase from the NSale because I can’t resist fresh flowers on the counter. I got a few new dresses from a new-to-me brand called Pact. I will try to share them next week on my Instagram. It’s a brand with affordable clothing that emphasizes sustainability, gentle-on-skin certified organic essentials, free from toxic dyes, harsh chemicals or PFAS. Be sure to check them out.

Now let’s get to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2026 because it’s live now for everyone. It’s one I look forward to every year. I will say that I wasn’t impressed with the selection at my local Nordstrom store, but I did find some things that I was able to get my hands on by ordering online. I also have a few picks of items that are included in this year’s sale that I already own, so I added those in as well because the sale prices are really good.

This is one of my favorite sales of the entire year, and I have been doing a serious deep dives into all the best picks for us. A few important things to know before you shop:

• Prices are sale prices now, but they go back up in August when the sale ends
• Items sell out constantly throughout the sale, but they do sometimes get restocked by returns and regular restocks
• Pro tip: Add your favorites to your Nordstrom wishlist so you get notified the moment something comes back in stock

1. Coach Purse: Part of this year’s sale again. I think it was my best-selling recommendation last year. I love mine and use it all the time because it can be good for dressing up or everyday styles. I highly recommend it an any one of the color options.
2. Leopard Shoes: I loved these when I saw them in-store. They’re an indulgence, but oh so pretty!
3. Cashmere Scarf: Feels so luxe without the luxe price tag. I got the pink. Also available in a few other colors.
4. Colorful Necklace: I had to have this one. I can’t wait to wear it with jeans and a white tee.
5. Hair Dryer Styler: I have this already and I love it for salon looking blowouts that are so easy to do by myself at home.
6. Cookware Set: My favorite non-toxic cookware. I use it all the time along with my Wonder Oven Pro. Both are on sale for amazing prices.

Beauty Finds I Am Currently Obsessed With

Alright, let’s shift gears to beauty because I have been picking up some seriously good things lately and I could not keep them to myself any longer. I shared them on my Instagram too.

From Colourpop to Fenty, here is what I am loving:

• Colourpop Eyeshadow Palette – The pigment, the shades, the price point. This palette is a dream and perfect for everyday glam or a more dramatic look.
• Lancome Foundation Stick – I picked this up recently and it has become part of my daily routine. Buildable, blendable coverage that looks like real skin.
• Lip Peptide Gloss – Plumping, hydrating, and gorgeous. My lips have been thanking me ever since I added this to my routine.
• Naturium Bio-Lipid Restoring Body Lotion – My skin has been so happy since I started using this. It is rich without being greasy and the results are real.
• Fenty Contour Bronzer Stick – Rihanna did it again. This bronzer contour stick gives the most beautiful, natural-looking sun-kissed glow and I am obsessed.
• Tinge Body Makeup: If you’re like me and have age spots from too much time in the sun in your younger years, you will love this body makeup that moisturizes and covers the ugly spots. It’s water and transfer resistant. I mostly use it on my legs.
