Sunday with Stacie – Volume 18

September 8, 2024

I’m going to start this blog post by saying that I admittedly am not always the best with commitments. This Sunday with Stacie blog series that was supposed to be me posting my random thoughts and information every week just hasn’t gone on as planned. I always have good intentions and I started off great. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I’ve been so busy that the Sunday post is sometimes the first thing that I have to eliminate in order to get everything else done. I’m still going to try to do this post at least twice a month from now on because that may be more realistic for me. How are you with commitments?

A few random things…

  • These past few weeks have been good. I feel like I’m at a point where I am choosing more things that make me happy and saying no to the things that don’t feel right for me anymore. As you know, I work with lots of brands on different projects and for that I am truly grateful. I sometimes get anxious or nervous about hitting the mark on all of the requirements. And having deadlines can be hard sometimes. So, I’ve decided to not do that to myself anymore. I’ve learned to say no to brands instead and it feels really good. This helps me to continue to stay authentic and represent myself the way I want people to see me. I think trust and honesty in the influencer profession is so important. I’ve always only worked on projects that resonate with me and I will continue to do so.
  • I recently saw this fun stack of decorative books at a store. Gotta love Carrie Bradshaw and her words of wisdom.
A stack of four white decorative books with black text sits on a wooden shelf. The text reads, "DON'T FORGET TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF FIRST - Carrie Bradshaw." Next to the books is a gold and clear glass vase. Linens and pillows are visible in the background.

Love this quote!

  • We’ve been having a nice little taste of Fall here in Texas. The mornings are starting to feel a little crisper for my walks and the evenings have been delightful for dining outdoors. This makes my heart so happy. Spring is my favorite season, but Fall will do for now.
  • Next weekend I will be going to Savannah for the Influencers of Midlife Conference. I’m really excited to see the ladies I met at last year’s conference and also look forward to meeting so many midlife influencers who I’ve only known online for so many years. I have a feeling we’ll be up into the wee hours of the morning chatting together. These friendships are real, even though we all met online (I love this). Oh, and learning new information that will help me navigate through the influencer space will be an added bonus.

That’s about all I have for you for this week. Thanks so much for sticking by me and supporting me all of these years! I truly value the time you take to interact with me by liking, commenting, sharing, purchasing my recommendations and more. If you ever have questions or comments, please reach out.

Accessories are a great way to add a personal touc Accessories are a great way to add a personal touch to our outfits. Both of these fun necklaces are from Alex and Ani, a brand that most of us are familiar with. They’re great on their own and are perfect for layered looks too.

Do you love adding jewelry as the finishing touch to your outfits?

Some handbags are just handbags… and then there ar Some handbags are just handbags… and then there are the ones that feel like a piece of art. #consuela_partner

I’m loving the Bae City Bag from Consuela! It’s a fun statement piece, but it’s also incredibly versatile. I especially love wearing it crossbody when I want to be hands-free.

And knowing this bag is handcrafted in Mexico with attention given to every detail makes it feel even more special. Every @ConsuelaStyle bag has so much personality and character.

If you’re already thinking about your Fall wardrobe, you definitely want to take a peek at the Consuela Fall Collection. There are SO many gorgeous bags and accessories to choose from that are fun and functional.

Go check out the collection and tell me which bag is your favorite!

If you’ve been looking for an easy way to level up If you’ve been looking for an easy way to level up your skincare routine, this is it! #roc_partner

I’ve been using the NEW RoC Line Smoothing 2-Step Peel Pads, and I love how simple they are to use.

Step 1 gently exfoliates with a blend of glycolic, lactic, mandelic, and other exfoliating acids to remove dull, rough skin.

Step 2 follows with RoC’s patented Clinical Retinol plus Ectoin to help smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles while supporting your skin barrier. The best part? It takes just a couple of minutes and fits seamlessly into my evening skincare routine.

At 61, my skin feels noticeably smoother and looks brighter after using them, and with continued use they’re designed to improve texture, uneven tone, dullness, and the appearance of wrinkles.

At around $30 they’re an affordable way to enjoy a professional-inspired peel at home.

Are you as excited as I am about this new at-home dual-step treatment?
