I’m going to start this blog post by saying that I admittedly am not always the best with commitments. This Sunday with Stacie blog series that was supposed to be me posting my random thoughts and information every week just hasn’t gone on as planned. I always have good intentions and I started off great. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I’ve been so busy that the Sunday post is sometimes the first thing that I have to eliminate in order to get everything else done. I’m still going to try to do this post at least twice a month from now on because that may be more realistic for me. How are you with commitments?
A few random things…
- These past few weeks have been good. I feel like I’m at a point where I am choosing more things that make me happy and saying no to the things that don’t feel right for me anymore. As you know, I work with lots of brands on different projects and for that I am truly grateful. I sometimes get anxious or nervous about hitting the mark on all of the requirements. And having deadlines can be hard sometimes. So, I’ve decided to not do that to myself anymore. I’ve learned to say no to brands instead and it feels really good. This helps me to continue to stay authentic and represent myself the way I want people to see me. I think trust and honesty in the influencer profession is so important. I’ve always only worked on projects that resonate with me and I will continue to do so.
- I recently saw this fun stack of decorative books at a store. Gotta love Carrie Bradshaw and her words of wisdom.
- We’ve been having a nice little taste of Fall here in Texas. The mornings are starting to feel a little crisper for my walks and the evenings have been delightful for dining outdoors. This makes my heart so happy. Spring is my favorite season, but Fall will do for now.
- Next weekend I will be going to Savannah for the Influencers of Midlife Conference. I’m really excited to see the ladies I met at last year’s conference and also look forward to meeting so many midlife influencers who I’ve only known online for so many years. I have a feeling we’ll be up into the wee hours of the morning chatting together. These friendships are real, even though we all met online (I love this). Oh, and learning new information that will help me navigate through the influencer space will be an added bonus.
That’s about all I have for you for this week. Thanks so much for sticking by me and supporting me all of these years! I truly value the time you take to interact with me by liking, commenting, sharing, purchasing my recommendations and more. If you ever have questions or comments, please reach out.
