The Sunday Weekly Beauty Spotlight

Happy  almost summer my friends! Boy have I had a lot going on this past week. I’ve had my 7-year-old nephew from Florida staying with me for a summer vacation for him. It’s been fun, but let me tell you it has been a lot of work too. I’m not used to having an active little boy around. He’s keeping me on my toes, but he is super sweet too. I signed him up for half days of camp last week (he loved it). This next week I’m hoping to tire him out a bit and he’ll be attending full day sports camp. He loves it so it should be a wonderful week for all.

Today is Father’s Day. This is one of those days that is hard for me since my dad passed away in June of 2015. I miss the heck out of him. It makes me so sad that he’s no longer here. My husband lost his dad just over a month ago, so I’m sure today will be hard for him as well. However, on the other side of our sadness we will be happy celebrating him and the wonderful and amazing father he is to our three children. We’re planning on an early evening dinner and pool party. I hope you’re doing something fun to celebrate all of the Fathers in your lives.
