I have very thick coarse hair that is somewhere between wavy and curly AND it can get frizzy. Yuck! I’ve hated my hair for my whole life. I’m always looking for a fast and easy way to straighten my hair. I recently put the Simply Straight Ceramic Straightening Brush to the test against my crazy hair.

This tool is a nice size and it fits comfortably in my hand.

You can see in my photo below how wavy (and BIG) my hair is even after I used a brush and blow dryer. I usually just go to sleep with wet hair and use this tool on my hair when I wake up in the morning.
This next photo shows me the putting finishing touches on my hair styled with the straightening brush. I slowly pull the heated brush through my hair to ensure that all of my hair comes into contact with the heated bristles. Because my hair is so thick I have to use the 450 degree setting to get my hair to cooperate. My hair can easily take the heat. Be sure to use proper products on your hair before using heat styling tools so that you don’t damage your hair.

Verdict: This is a tool that I will keep in my arsenal forever. It retails for $39.95, which is a great deal. This straightening brush is perfect for me because it can heat up to 450 degrees. I need the higher temperatures for my coarse hair. You can use less heat if you have thinner hair. I basically just brush through my hair and the ionic 3D ceramic bristles do all the work to give me straight hair that’s frizz free. My hair is straight while maintaining volume. Best of all, the process is quick and easy and anyone can do it!

We always want what we don’t have! I’ve had straight hair my entire life, and I’ve always wanted curls. My mom, has the curliest of hair, and was always envious of my hair lol. This brush straightener looks really easy to use!

I haven’t tried this before, but had a company reach out to me and ask me to give their product a test run, only to never contact me again after claiming they would send it. I have always been interested in trying these to see how they’ll do with my curly hair.
