The Beauty Box 5 monthly subscription box is one of the packages that I really look forward to each and every month. I love the surprises that are included in each box. Happy Hair Turban – I was so excited to see another from Happy Brands. I have one of their wash cloths that I received in a previous box and find it to be an all time favorite for cleansing my face. The hair turban that in this box is supposed to help dry the hair faster while being gentle on hair follicles, reducing frizz and breakage. I can’t wait to use it. Retail $18*
Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes – This is a travel size package of facial cleansing wipes to remove makeup, sweat, etc. This isn’t my favorite brand of cleansing wipes, but I know that I’ll use them anyway. Retail for full size $5.99
Smooth Criminal HD Finishing Powder from Be a Bombshell – This is a finely milled translucent powder to set foundation. It can also be used to mattify skin or even out your complexion. I haven’t tried this yet. Retail $7*
Go Smile Teeth Whitening Gel – This is a product that you add to your toothpaste to help brighten up your smile. I haven’t tried this one yet either. I’m happy to try it out soon. Full size retails for $29.
Pur-lisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer – This moisturizer has a spf of 30, which is a HUGE plus to me. I love this type of product! This one is formulated to calm skin, hydrate and improve texture. It’s lightweight and safe for sensitive skin. I’ve used it under my foundation and am quite impressed so far. Full size retails for $55
Verdict: Overall, I find this month’s Beauty Box 5 to be a hit. It contains products that I will definitely use. I’ve been very happy with most of the products that have been contained in their boxes over the years.

I buy 4 subscriptions a month. I don’t need them but I love getting mail. LOL. My favorite is Boxycharm since the value of it is always high. But this month Sephora Play and IPSY were very good to me.

You can never have too many hair turbans! That’s a neat selection, though there’s little by way of makeup in there.
