My Sephora Play subscription bag for June arrived just in time for the start of summer (although it’s felt like summer here in Dallas for over a month already) The theme of this month’s bag is Summer Nights. Everything in the bag is meant to help you beat the heat. In addition, several of the items that were included were specific to my personal profile with Sephora. I love this! It makes the bag less generic and more customized to each individual subscriber.
The Sephora Play subscription bag is $10 per month on the Sephora website. The price includes shipping. I’ve been getting these bags since they first came out. You can see some of the previous contents in some of my other posts.
Each monthly box includes:
–Five deluxe makeup, skincare and hair care samples (plus a beauty bonus!)
-A collectible makeup bag
-Access to exclusive video how-tos and tutorials about how to use the products in your box
-PLAY! BOOK with tips, tricks, and how-tos about each sample
-PLAY! PASS to redeem in store for 50 bonus Beauty Insider points with a full-size purchase
-PLAY! DATE, a subscriber-only event that gives you and a friend the opportunity to come in store and play with products and meet with our beauty experts
The Summer Nights bag includes:
Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder in Light Medium – This is the first product in this month’s bag that is personalized for my skin tone. It’s an ultra lightweight setting powder that’s meant to keep makeup in place all day long.
Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips – I already LOVE this makeup remover and am thrilled to have this one for travel.
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Queen B – Of course the lipstick shade in this bag is the only one that I already have from the collection. LOL!
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – This is said to be a tightening and smoothing body cream that delivers radiant skin. I haven’t tried it yet but plan to soon. I’ve heard mixed reviews on the scent so I made sure to smell it right away. I think it smells divine and beachy.
Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream – This frizz taming styling cream was included in my bag based on my profile indicating that frizz is a concern for me. I really like this product as I’ve used it in the past.
Bonus Item – Marajo Deep Treatment Butter and Nourishing Cleansing Cream – I haven’t tried this and probably won’t since I’d need 4-5 packets to have enough product for my super thick hair.
Most of the items in this month’s bag are ones that I’ve used in the past. I do prefer to get products that are new to me instead. However, at least I do already like these products and now have travel sizes that I can take with me on my upcoming vacations.

The Bum Bum cream smells so good! And no, the lippie is travel size/deluxe sample size. It’s perfect to put in my pocket for touch ups when I don’t take a purse. Stacie xo

Subscription boxes tend to be repetitive so I get your point on this.
Yes, so many of them are repetitive. I think this one may be more suited for people who don’t have as many beauty products as I do. Stacie xo

It’s great that it’s more personalized this month but it would be nice to have different shades. Whenever I get products I can’t use they go right into my giveaway box for future contests on my blog.

Stacie, I’m laughing at myself because I cancelled after last month’s bag, and I would have loved the travel size Bum Bum cream! Isn’t that the way! However, I probably did the right thing because I wouldn’t use the rest of the items. I must go to Sephora and buy that travel size to put in my beach bag.

Sephora has some good products I currently and consistently use a concealer I got from that store. The idea of paying 10 monthly for that gift bag is not to over the top then

I got the exact same box! For me it’s the best box I’ve had in months. I’ve also already tried many of the products, but at least they’re things I really like.
