Life Gets in the Way

Hi Everyone!

My blogging schedule has been rather erratic for the past week.  Life just gets in the way of our good intentions sometimes.  That’s what’s happened to me.  Luckily it was all good things in life that interfered with my blogging.

So, what have I been up to?

Filming and editing videos:
It takes a lot of time to film, edit and upload Youtube videos.  I enjoy doing it, but my time has just been spread a little thin this past week.

Golf tournaments for my son:
These typically last around 5 hours for 18 holes.  So there goes the whole day when he plays in a 36 hole tournament as he did this week.

Learning a whole new blog platform:
I decided to switch my blog from Blogger to WordPress.  I’m still currently on Blogger because I’m stumped with a lot of the features on WordPress.  I’ll figure it out eventually…  In the meantime, I’ve spent hours playing around and getting frustrated.  The good thing is that Google is always there to help when you have a question.

Walking:
I still get my exercise in no matter what.  Look at this old log that is decorated differently every time I walk by it.  This week the necklace was new.  LOL!

Class with my daughter:
My daughter has wanted to take a Wilton cake decorating class.  It’s been fun!  We’re learning buttercream skills at the moment.  We each need to bring an 8 inch round cake and homemade buttercream frosting to class tonight.  My daughter works on Wednesday, therefore I spent about 2 1/2 – 3 hours today making everything.   These are the cakes that I made today to take to class.

Birthday dinners and Broadway shows:
This one is self explanatory.

Doctors appointments:
I had a dermatology appointment this week.  My doctor burned another 25 or more spots off my face that she says are sebaceous hyperplasia.  They’re nothing harmful, but I prefer not to have them if they can be easily removed.  Now I get to spend the next 2 weeks healing my skin.  I look like a teenager with acne.  Lovely.
