I’ve been wanting to bake these cookies ever since I saw them on Pinterest several months ago. They are from Skinnytaste and can be found here. I love to eat my sweets, therefore I’m always looking for healthy recipes to satisfy my cravings. This recipe calls for only 3 simple ingredients. The fewer the ingredients in a recipe the more appealing it is for me since I’m not too handy in the kitchen.
2 medium ripe bananas, 1 cup quick oats and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
You can always substitute the walnuts for others that you prefer or add things such as dried fruit.
Mash the bananas, then add in other 2 ingredients
Place scoops of the batter onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes
Enjoy your cookies!
My daughter and I preferred them when cooled rather than warm.
They are more like a muffin than a cookie to us and tasted delicious!
Feel free to share your healthy sweet treat recipes with me anytime.
I’d love to try them!

Looks yummy…I would be so tempted to add in some semi-sweet chocolate chips 😉

Love this recipe and think it might help with my horrible sweet tooth. I think I will add some cinnamon and maybe a little vanilla.
