There’s a new skincare line that I’ve been sampling called Volition. They just launched their top 5 products at Sephora.com and they’ll be coming to select stores this September. Let me tell you now, you will love the line.
The products are free of parabans, sulfates and phthalates. The entire line was co-created by Volition and beauty community innovators (like you and me). Here’s how they explain it:
Volition Beauty is a “revolutionary brand that co-creates products together with an open community of beauty enthusiasts. We believe that everyday women with real beauty problems should decide what products are made. Our Volition community drives the next big things in beauty through a collaborative, innovative process.”
I’ve been using three of their products as part of my anti-aging skincare routine.
Turmeric Brightening Polish – This product is formulated for all skin types. It’s for polishing the skin and getting rid of dull skin. I like that it has turmeric as part of the formula. Turmeric has all kinds of health benefits, so why not add it to skincare as well?! My skin feels nice and soft following a quick session with this product, especially with the sticky humid weather in Texas lately. Retails for $38 for 4 ounces.
Oceanene Youth-Boost Gel – This moisturizing gel hit it out of the ballpark for me. The gel combines marine algae with anti-aging bioactives. It contains brown algae to support natural collagen synthesis, vitamin C for brightening, and sodium hyaluronate for visible plumping. The consistency is very watery and so easy to spread (a little goes a long way). It feels great and super lightweight on the skin. It absorbs very fast. It works well under makeup. It has no scent at all, which I love. Retails for $50 for 2 ounces.
Helix AM/PM Eye Gel – I was surprised when I opened the jar of eye gel. The product is clear, which was what surprised me the most. It is completely scent free. In the morning, this “collagen-rich eye gel acts like the perfect primer under makeup to visibly blur fine lines and wrinkles. Overnight, its powerful helix complex—a potent, organic compound rich in allantoin, collagen, elastin, and glycolic acid—hydrates, renews, and promotes healthy, youthful-looking skin. Eyes are brighter, smoother, and de-puffed.” I just pat the product around each eye until it is fully absorbed. The lightweight Helix powered gel wears well under my makeup. It doesn’t pill up like some others. Retails for $52 for a .5 ounce jar.
There are two other products in the line that I hope to try out in the future, the Detoxifying Silt Gelee Mask and Oil-Control Mattifying Mist.

Sounds wonderful. I love when you said they had no fragrance since that’s so important to me. The eye gel looks so refreshing. I bet it’s amazing for daytime use especially.

Always good to discover new skincare brands. I sometimes apply a turmeric mask-and-scrub to relieve clogged pores – it works very well for me.

This new line does sound impressive. I’ve heard great things about using Turmeric in skin care. And, I’m all about any product that will “depuff” my eyes.
