Did you know that your anti-aging skincare routine should include a daily dose of topical Vitamin C? Why should you be adding adding Vitamin C into your daily skincare regimen? Because Vitamin C is a powerful component that packs a lot of punch. I’ve always been told that it’s an antioxidant for the skin and that I should be applying it in the morning. I’ve done some research and found out that it does so much more than I thought.
The benefits of Vitamin C in anti-aging skincare:
- boosts collagen
- brightens skin
- helps reduce the appearance of large pores
A few months ago I was sent some products to try from Vitabrid, a Korean skincare line that I consider to be the Rolls Royce in Vitamin C. I’ve used their active Vitamin C 12 Brightening product in the past and felt like my skin benefitted from it. I talked about it in this video. This time I’m adding their Dual Serum into the mix.
The Vitabrid Dual Serum comes in a box with 3 separate 10 mL vials with pump-like dispensers. The reason for the product being in separate containers is because you mix only one batch up at a time. Vitamin C products do not have a long shelf life. This insures that each vial is fresh. When you take out a new vial, you simply to twist the bottom to release the yellow Deep Care Serum. Shake the bottle to mix the clear Skin-Barrier Serum with the Deep Care Serum. It’s simple to do and makes me feel like a scientist. Each vial should last about 30 days when used daily.
“Vitamin C and peptides are two of the key ingredients for skin care in this product. In order to maintain a stabilized state, they are stored separately then mixed only prior to use. Optimal effects can be seen when used within one month after mixing.”
Vitabrid C¹² Dual Serum is “freshly mixed and easily absorbed with hybridized Vitabrid CG and peptides that deliver proven anti-aging benefits and an even skin tone both internally and externally. The skin-brightening formula improves tone, texture, firmness, and elasticity while moisturizing, hydrating, and supplying nutrients to the skin to protect it from external stress factors.”
The Vitabrid C12 Face Brightening Powder can be mixed together with the Dual Serum for added benefits if desired. The products absorb quickly into my skin. There is no sticky residue on my face after application, therefore I can immediately apply my makeup. I really feel like my skin looks brighter and healthier with the use of these products in my skincare routine. In fact, I’ve gotten many compliments on the appearance of my skin from friends who ask what I’ve been doing.
If you’re seeking a brighter complexion, I recommend that you give these Vitabrid Vitamin C products a try. They can be used alone or can be paired together. Your skin will thank you!
