Here is a recap of the Makeup Show Dallas that took place on June 13th and 14th, 2015. I was fortunate to be included in the blogger preview event that took place on Friday night before the show actually started. James Vincent did an amazing job (once again) at presenting his current and long-term favorite beauty products with the bloggers. He gave detailed descriptions on each of a wide variety of products and explained why he loves each and every one. He also talked about his love of education. I personally am not trained in any way, shape or form in the beauty industry. I learn from those who choose to educate me and share their knowledge of products with me. I honestly find it all quite fascinating and inspiring.
I definitely took full advantage of the discounted shopping experience at the show. The reason I bought most of the products that I did was because I was educated on what to look for and what works for a lot of people and why. I attended an additional educational class that James Vincent presented called “Makeup Kit Must Haves” which was for new makeup artists building their kits. He did an amazing job again at explaining all of the products that he recommends and why he loves and uses them.
I had the opportunity to speak with makeup artists and founders of several exciting makeup brands, including Melanie Mills from Gleam and Angela and Peter from Mustaev. Speaking to the people behind the brands is a rewarding experience in itself. It was fascinating and contagious to hear the excitement in the voices of these people as they shared their love of makeup and beauty products. Thank you to The Makeup Show team for bringing your show to Dallas!!
Check back here often because I plan to review many of the products that I purchased at the show.

I’ve never indulged in makeup but I am intrigued by it. I love being a natural beauty but I also love the versatility make-up provides for the everyday woman. Looks like this was a great event. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely! It’s a good thing they don’t come to my town often or I’d be broke! Stacie xo
