I love to see what people get in their beauty subscription boxes as much as I enjoy sharing the contents of what was in mine. This post is a reveal of the September BeautyFIX box from Dermstore. The theme for this month is Back to Basics. The box contained seven deluxe sample size products and 2 regular size products.
The box contains a flyer with descriptions of all of the products in the box. With the Back to Basics theme the products focus on getting back to school and everything you might need to take care of your beauty needs from your hair to your skin.
The deluxe sample size products in the Back to Basics Box:
- Dermalogica Rapid Reveal Peel
- Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Blackberry Perfume
- VENeffect Micro-Exfoliant
- Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots
- Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing Bar
- Murad Nutrient Charged Water Gel
- Harry Josh Detangling Mini Brush (shown below)
All of the sample size products in this box are new to me. I’ve never used any of them before, but I look forward to giving them all a try.
The full sample size products in the Back to Basics Box:
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator – “Refines your complexion by exfoliating dead skin cells to improve the appearance of the skin. Fine micro-crystals and lactic exfoliate dead skin cells, unclog pores and diminish scars for brighter and younger-looking skin. Aloe vera soothes the skin and prevents irritation. Ideal for use on the face, arms, hands and neck.”
This scrub is nice and gentle for when I need a good “scrub.” I especially like using it on the backs of my hands. This product retails for $79.
Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner in Spice – “Smudge-proof and transfer-resistant, this creamy formula provides vibrant, lasting color while keeping lipstick, stains and glosses in place. Infused with vitamins and antioxidants, it also nourishes as you wear it, helping to keep your lips smooth and kissably soft all day and night.”
I really love this creamy lip liner. The Spice shade is the perfect liner with all of my nude lipstick shades, or I can wear it on it’s own all over my lips. This product retails for $18.
As you can see from the pictures and descriptions above, the September BeautyFIX Box cost me $24.95 for $97.00 for just 2 full size products. The seven deluxe samples are technically a bonus to the box. All of the samples are luxury products that I’m happy to have the opportunity to try. A few of these will go in my box of travel size beauty products to grab when I’m going on a vacation.
Here’s a little background on the BeautyFIX subscription box… These are monthly subscription boxes that cost $24.95 per month if you sign up for a subscription. If you prefer to pick and choose which boxes you purchase as a “one time” thing, then the cost is $34.95 per box featuring full and travel-size products worth at least $100. You can see what I received in a previous month’s box for a better idea of the variety of contents over the course of time.
