I hope you all had a great week and a fabulous weekend! I’ve recently tried to get back to my Optimistic Monday posts. As you will see below, goals are not something I’ve been focusing on lately…
Goals for last week:
1. Post 2 YouTube videos.
Not even a single video from me! I have good intentions, but I haven’t had myself together enough to film. Every time I thought I was going to film I got sidetracked. I don’t wear makeup half the days in a week and you know I’m not filming while makeup less. So I just keep pushing videos to the back burner. They will happen eventually!

2. 3-4 blog posts.

3. Walk at least 12 miles.
I did get some walking in this week but didn’t quite meet my goal.

4. Attend at least 1 pilates class.
Oops, I didn’t make it to a class. I really have no excuses.

5. Start getting things together for my vacation.
We had an unexpected/unplanned trip come up when my son won a recent golf tournament. The whole family decided to tag along to the UK. Now I’m just waiting on my renewed passport to arrive… I haven’t packed at all but have shopped for just a few cold weather items.
6. Bake something healthy.
I didn’t bake and I barely cooked at all. It’s just so hard when my husband is traveling all the time and my kids are going in a million different directions.

2. Weights workout at home for arms 3x
3. 2 YouTube videos
4. Pack by Friday
5. Finish up some thank you cards
I’m going to take it easy this week with my goals since I know things will come up while getting ready for our trip. I plan to meet up with some YouTube friends while on vacation, so I am SO excited about that. And of course, going on vacation with my family will be wonderful. We’re all starting to get pretty excited about it now. I’ve been doing just a little bit of research on products that I need to buy at the shops there that we don’t have here in the US. Funny how us makeup obsessed women have that as one of our vacation priorities.
