It’s the Mariah Carey collection and half of the polish in the collection is called Liquid Sand. There are 4 color choices in this group. They’re interesting… I didn’t buy into any of the trendy textured polishes in the past, but one particular color in this collection seemed a bit interesting to me.
I bought mine at Ulta for $9. The directions say to apply a base coat first followed by 2 coats of the color. That’s it. No top coat. This gives you a matte finish. I chose The Impossible. It’s a fuchsia red color. The glitter in the polish is big and chunky and includes little stars (I did not pick those up on my brush when I applied it). I thought I’d like this type of polish for an accent nail rather than on all fingers.
I really like this polish! It dries super fast and has a gritty sandpaper-like feel to it.. The background of the nail is matte with the glitter standing out and making it sparkly. I would repurchase this polish for something fun and different. I’ve seen swatches of the other colors on a variety of blogs and they all look like fun colors to wear.

I love it, but it seems it would feel weird to have bumps on your nails? Does it or am I missing the point.

It is a little weird. I touch it all day long. I think I prefer this as an accent nail on each hand and the others are smooth. I think it’s just a trendy little thing. Have a great day! Stacie xo
