I recently read an article in a magazine (I think it was InStyle). I thought it would be fun to share with all of you my picks for my perfect lipstick wardrobe. According to the beautiful Mally Roncal, every woman needs at least three shades. If only she could could see the collections that my friends and I are hoarding away in our vanities that are threatening to take over our bathrooms.

A trendy shade:
I love the trendy shades that are out there right now. In going with the Radiant Orchid pantone color that is hot right now my picks are:
YSL Glossy Stain #17, MAC Huggable Lipcolor in Commotion, Rouge d’Armani Sheer in #501
A versatile nude:
I love so many nude lipsticks and lip glosses. I prefer nudes that are more pink toned such as these:
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in Take Charge, MAC Creme d’ Nude, MAC Japanese Maple
Estee Lauder Rose Amethyst (still my favorite lipstick of all),

A classic red:
I don’t own too many red lipsticks but I’m trying to be more brave with this color. I really love these:

I’m with lovely Gwen up there ^^. My wardrobe is spilling over! haha! I am the opposite of you, as I have tons of reds, and did not ever have nudes until now. I am trying to find some that I like, and try to incorporate more neutral colors. I have always worn dark, vampy colors. I’ll have to check out the nudes you mentioned. I think a pink based would work better on me also. And that darn Mally Roncal. How gorgeous is she???
