After 8 years with Light Concept Nails I decided (on a whim) to take them off and have Gelish nails done instead. This experience stemmed from the fact that I had to miss my regular nail appointment due to being at a golf tournament with my son. My nails had the 2 week growth going on and looked terrible. My nail tech was on vacation and nobody else around here does this type of nails.
My daughter and I went to a nail salon and I had them gently file off the Light Concept product. When the process was complete, I picked a color and had the Gelish product put on. Sorry, but I didn’t ask the color’s name. I just saw a number on the swatched samples and didn’t pay attention to what it was.
So far I am LOVING this product! For starters, I love the color that I chose. My nails look perfectly polished and shiny. They are thinner than acrylics and the Light Concept nails that I had for so many years, which I feel is much more natural looking. I’ve only had this manicure for a few days now and my nails look as good as the day that they were done. No chipping or peeling. I will report back in another week as to how the polish holds up.

I really like the Gellish brand nails. Regular polish chips very quickly on me, but Gellish has never chipped..
