I have a guest post here on my blog today. Anita is sharing her makeup tips to complement winter fashion.
Winter is a season of calm and relaxation, and your makeup routine should take a tip from nature and change as the temperatures drop and the leaves begin to fall. Follow these tips to look flawless all season long:
Embrace Smoky Eyes
Enhance the drama of any look by embracing a matte smoky eye. Skip black in favor of deep purples and navy shadows for fall that will go with any outfit you don. Use a light taupe or white shade just under the brow bone, then apply a medium purple-brown shadow to your crease area. Use a large flat brush to apply a matte plum shadow all over the eyelid, then use a pointed brush to drag a line of navy shadow along your upper lash line. Top off the look with a coat of black mascara.
Swap Lipstick for Stains
Get a touch of barely-there color to complement any outfit this fall with lip stain. Prep your lips by lightly buffing them with an exfoliating scrub, then apply lip stain. If one coat is too light for your taste, let it dry before applying a second coat. Add a subtle shine by topping off your pout with your favorite clear gloss or balm.
Go for the Gold (or Bronze or Copper)
Match your makeup palette with the colors of the season. Bronze, copper and gold eyeshadows, eyeliners and lipsticks are neutral and will go with any ensemble while providing a seasonal pop of color. Use these shades on only one feature at a time to get a warm look without overwhelming your face.
Enhance Your Brows
Bold brows are all the rage for fall. Use a brush and a small dollop of eyebrow gel to groom your eyebrows into an arched shape, then fill in sparse patches with a shadow or pencil using very light pressure. Comb through with a spool brush and keep the rest of your eye makeup neutral to really highlight your brows.
Get Flushed
A rosy, flushed complexion is perfect for autumn. To achieve a just-in-from-the-cold look, use a cheek tint. Apply a small drop to your cheek’s apply using your fingers. Lightly blend the color up toward your temples using your middle finger. Gradually repeat the process to add additional layers of color until you get the perfect look.
Each of these tips will transform your look for winter and complement all of the season’s fashion trends. Have fun experimenting in the season of transformation.

I was so happy when I stopped getting my brows waxed so much and let them fill in more. I started from scratch and I have thicker brows that look so much better. Even if the trend changes, I don’t think I will go back. I love your make up tips for winter, thanks for sharing!

I agree completely! I’ve grown mine in these past few months too. It took a lot of self control, but I love the result. Thanks for stopping by! Stacie xo

Hi,
Great tips!
On top of the discomforts of winters, covering up the skin damages is a challenge for makeup lovers.
Luckily, there’s a solution covering these imperfections and repair a dry and flaky skin texture, while providing even, long-lasting coverage to improve the current appearance of your weather worn complexion. Once again, thanks to share this useful stuff.
