Do you correct and conceal your under eye area? Perhaps you have fine lines and wrinkles that you want to blur and cover up? Make Up For Ever just launched their brand new Ultra HD Concealer. I’m so excited about this unique formula. This brand is always adding new innovative products and formulas to their line. Remember last year’s Ultra HD Foundation? It was groundbreaking in the world of 4K camera ready makeup. Meet its counterpart now… the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Concealer.
Key ingredients include:
- Lamellar structure pigments that reflect and diffuse light, erasing under eye shadows and blurring imperfections.
- An anti-dark circle complex comprised of green algae and amino acids to help conceal and correct combined with a radiance booster comprised of Asian berry extract that helps stimulate collagen production to brighten and smooth the skin.
- A 3D elastomer gel to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
The concealer is available in 10 shades. Five of the shades are meant to correct and five of the shades are meant to conceal. Correcting is done first to counter dark under eye discoloration. Concealer is applied next to brighten the under eye area and even out skin tone. These products are available at Sephora and Make Up For Ever stores and online. Each shade retails for $27 for .23 ounces.
The tube has a one-of-a-kind nozzle tip where the product is dispensed. It’s designed to be applied directly to the skin from the tube. You can then use your fingertips to blend and perfect. I like the fingertip method for application so that the heat from my finger warms up the product for easy blending.
Light Shades: R20 (Porcelain), R22 (Pink Beige), Y21 (Pearl), Y23 (Ivory)
Medium Shades: R30 (Beige), R32 (Peach Beige), Y31 (Sand), Y33 (Vanilla)
Olive Shades: R40 (Apricot Beige), Y41 (Honey)
Verdict: If you’re familiar with the top-notch quality of Make Up Forever professional products, then this product will not disappoint. With the range of colors there is a shade for the fairest of skin tones through tanned skin. Unfortunately, there aren’t options for those with darker skin tones who are looking for concealer. Hopefully they’ll come out with more choices in the future. The product stayed exactly where I put it for most of the day. It’s lightweight, so I don’t feel it on my skin. It worked best for me when I hydrated the under eye area with a good moisturizer first (this is a must for my mature skin). If you’re looking for a good under eye concealer or corrector, I recommend you give these Ultra HD Concealers a try.
What’s your favorite under eye concealer? Have you tried these from Make Up For Ever yet?

Oh, for some reason I thought this was a new foundation with built-in concealer like the new Milani. If I didn’t have 25+ concealers including correctors, I’d be all over this. I love MUFE. I’m sure that I’ll be swatching it at Sephora soon in spite of my huge stash

I think concealers are the least of my makeup collection. I recall your concealer wardrobe post a while back. Definitely give these a swatch when you’re at Sephora. Stacie xo

I’m lucky to not have dark cirles, but I do like to brighten the area under my eyes to make me look more away and fresh. I find it hard to find under eye concealers that blend easily and don’t feel heavy on that delicate skin.

Oh, you’re so lucky not to have to deal with dark circles. I stay up way too late most nights. You should give these a swatch and maybe get a sample at Sephora to see if these brighten your under eye area. The formula is very nice! Stacie xo

I’ve become addicted to MUFE products and this is one on my wish list. Thank you so much for the color swatches. I’m still trying to figure out if I’m Porcelain or Pink Beige.

You’re so welcome! I’d say you should go to Sephora to swatch so that you’ll know which color works best for you so you don’t have to deal with returns. Stacie xo

When I was looking at the swatches, I thought it looked like there was part of the spectrum missing! I feel like of all brands, MUFE would be on top of shade selection. A lot of makeup artists use them. Anyway, I’ve heard nothing but great things about their brand, though the only products I own by them are from a Sephora birthday gift. These look like great options for people who fit into the shade selection!

I’m guessing that they wanted to start with a sampling of concealers and add colors later? Not sure why the range is limited. They certainly make amazing products. I’ve been loving their foundations and eye shadows lately. Stacie xo
