How many trips do you make to the salon to get your hair colored? I personally am not a huge fan of salon visits for hair coloring. I have the world’s thickest hair making the process take forever. Add the long length that I prefer to wear my hair to the thickness of my hair and you easily have a two hour salon visit. I have little patience for sitting in a chair and going through the process. I feel like I’m too busy to squeeze a hair coloring into my day.
I’m extremely excited with a new purchase that I made and just had to share it with you. John Frieda has some new types of products in their Brilliant Brunette® line. I’ve used their shampoos and conditioners for many years. I was super excited to see that they now have the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Shampoo and Colour Deepening Conditioner along with the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Treatment on the shelf at my local Walmart. These are going to be a tremendous time saver for me.

I will now be able to use these hair coloring products in the shower at times that are convenient to me, which is often in the late evening when the salon is already closed. These products have an incredible convenience factor and an amazing cost factor. Salon hair coloring can be quite expensive. My hair coloring appointments usually cost about $165 plus a tip. These Brilliant Brunette® products cost under $10 each. That’s quite the savings for products that can make my hair look beautiful at home. The in-shower treatments are not available in all stores, so if you can’t find a product at your local Walmart, you can purchase them at Walmart.com.
The Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Shampoo and Conditioner infuse color into the hair for a deeper shade* (*when using the Deeper™ system of shampoo, conditioner and treatment). The process is gradual. The products are formulated with cocoa and evening primrose oil and smell fabulous to me. In addition, they’re safe for use on natural or color-treated hair including highlights and lowlights.
The new Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Deeper™ Colour Deepening Treatment is an in-shower product that instantly deepens and darkens brunette hair up to one shade. Like the shampoo and conditioner, the Deepening Treatment infuses hair with a boost of color to deepen and darken it without the damage of traditional hair color. It’s also safe to use on natural or color-treated hair as well as those with highlights and lowlights. This product doesn’t have any obvious scent to it, which I really like.
Over time my dark brunette hair begins to fade from the sun, heat styling tools and growth. I can’t wait to use these Visibly Deeper™ products because my hair is quite dull at the moment. I’m really excited to use these products in the comfort of my own home. I’ll be sure to take before and after pictures for you. I’ll share an update with you here on my blog in about two weeks.
