I never thought Iceland would be a place that I’d visit. However, when my husband told me a few months ago that he needed to go to Iceland for a business trip, I asked him if the whole family could tag along. Of course he said yes and I’m so glad that he did! The trip was AMAZING! Our Iceland vacation memories will last a lifetime.
The flight to Iceland is fairly easy. We flew from Dallas to New York, then New York to Iceland. The flying time from New York is just over 5 hours. Not too bad at all. We were in Iceland in June when the sun shines nearly 24 hours a day. It’s fun and different, but not something I think I’d get used to. People literally go golfing and do outdoor activities at 11:00 pm!
I want to share a few pictures from our amazing vacation along with a vlog type video that my daughter filmed and put together from our time in Iceland. It’s definitely an inside look at our family dynamics too… Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!!
I apologize, this video is no longer working. If I can find it, I will re-upload. Sorry about that! – Stacie
You really need to watch this video! It’s so much fun!!

Family time in the Blue Lagoon
Hey, we’re finally both looking at the camera and smiling!
I was proud of my action shot here and my husband was proud of his accurate snowball shot!
They have beautiful and powerful waterfalls.
The people were so nice and hospitable everywhere we went. I personally loved how everything seemed to be so organized there too. There wasn’t any chaos or anything like in the tourist areas. Everything was pretty laid back.
I literally just told my husband last night that I wanted to go to Iceland. Just loved the video!! You have such an amazing family!! You can feel the love!! xoxo Jayme
