Holiday Gifts for the Home

I know how hard it is to come up with gifts for everyone on our holiday gift giving lists every year. I try to find gifts that I would want for myself that I think the recipient would want as well. I came up with a small list of things that I think make beautiful gifts for the home for a hostess who enjoys entertaining during the holidays and beyond. These items are all about $60 or less and can be found on Amazon. I have most of these myself and have ordered additional ones for gift giving this year.

I think a battery powered salt and pepper shaker set makes a nice gift. It’s a little luxury item that someone might not buy for the themselves. It’s really nice to have while cooking and it’s nice to have on the table when serving a meal.

I love a beautiful glass bowl when serving a meal. I have this one and it’s so pretty! It’s actually quite heavy and looks beautiful filled with a pretty salad, a trifle dessert or any side dish.

I’ve also included some other glass pieces that are fabulous. I have the drinking glasses at my home. The raised texture design on the glass makes them feel sturdy in my hand and I feel like have a better grip on them than a smooth glass. They’re a bit heavier and look and feel luxurious. The vintage looking coffee mugs are a beautiful gift as well. They’re large enough to use for soup or cereal too.

One can never have enough appetizer or dessert plates. This pretty set will add a little glam to any kitchen or dining room. They pair nicely with a solid white dinner plate when used as salad plates.

Lastly, how beautiful and simple is this acrylic bud vase? A friend of mine posted about it a few weeks ago and I knew that I needed one for myself and several more as gifts. It looks so pretty filled with your favorite flowers on a kitchen counter or dining table.
