Friday Favorites – Top Nude Lip Products

Yay!  It’s Friday and that means that it’s time for my Friday Favorites!  This week’s edition includes my Top Nude Lip Products.  I was a little bit under the weather this past week and put my blog and Youtube channel on the back burner.  My family was passing around a little flu type of bug and of course the bug made its way to me.  I did my best to ignore it and went on with my daily life.  Last weekend was The Makeup Show here in Dallas.  There was a blogger preview event and then a fun-filled weekend of shopping for new makeup products and seminars.  I had a great time!!  I think I did great at not buying tons of products just because I could.  Most of what I purchased was well thought out and planned.  I’ve hardly had time to play with my new products thus far.  However, I’m slowly trying things out to review for you.

Summer is now in full swing in most parts of the country.  During the summer months I love to wear a slightly darker eye look with nude colored lipstick and/or lip gloss.  I thought I’d share some of my top nude lip products with you today.  I’m including both drugstore brands (okay, only one) and (mostly) specialty store or department store brands.  Let me know if you have a favorite nude lip product.

Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick in Pecan – This is a new favorite from their newer hand cut collection of lipsticks.

Dior Addict Gloss in Venus – The perfect color gloss to wear over any nude or pink toned lipstick.

Buxom Full Bodied Lip Gloss in Yes You – This gloss is also great over matte lipsticks or when you just want a little extra shine.

Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance Lipstick in Pure – A pretty wearable nude lipstick.

Wet n Wild Mega Last in Bare it All – My only drugstore lip product from the bunch.  I’m sure there are a ton of good ones at the drugstore, however I just never buy mine there.  Maybe I should?

Rouge Bunny Rouge Color Boost Lipstick in Irreverence – This lipstick feels great on the lips and has a nice shine to it.

Mac Creme D’ Nude – Everyone has probably heard of this cult favorite.  I think you have to have the right skin tone to wear this one.

Shiseido Automatic Lip Crayon #2 – This is the perfect color for all skin tones.  It’s a nice retractable type crayon that twists up so there is no sharpening needed for added convenience.  I don’t think it’s available any longer.  Sorry!

Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencil in Mystic – These multi function products are great and this is a beautiful color.  It’s a deeper color nude that is similar to the actual lip color.

Clinique Bare Pop – This is from the new Clinique collection of lip color + primer in a single product.  It’s a beautiful color for an everyday nude lip. It does have some micro glitter in it, so if glitter bothers you then you may want to skip this one.

Nars Sheer Lipstick in Cruising – This is a pink toned nude.  It’s nice and hydrating on the lips.  It wears off quicker than I’d like.  However, it’s beautiful so it wins a place on the list.

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Take Charge – This is a full coverage beautiful pink nude lipstick.  Unfortunately it is no longer available at retail stores that I know of.  I have seen it at a Bare Minerals outlet though so you can always check those places.

Lise Watier Rouge Gourmand Lipstick in Champagne – This lipstick is ultra hydrating.  I know that this brand is available in Canada, however I’m not sure where it can be purchased in the US.  I believe Naimie’s sells the Lise Watier brand.

Too Faced La Creme’ Nude Beach – This is another one of the pink nudes that I love so much.  This color can be slightly tricky.  You have to try this one on in person.  If you don’t get this color you should at least look at this collection because the lipstick had peptides and ingredients that are hydrating to the lips.  The packaging is stunning as well.
