Recent Gadgets That I Love

I’ve been a gadget girl for as long as I can remember. When I was child I begged my dad to buy me a tape recorder. If you know what that is, then you’re as old as I am. LOL! I used it to record my sister and I singing, even though either of us can’t keep a tune. My friends and I would pretend we were newscasters or reporters and record interviews. Then I decided I needed a typewriter. Again, I begged my dad and he bought me one. Now I typed my news in a newspaper format instead. What a great imagination I had!

That being said, I still buy into all the gadget out there. Whether it’s the latest Apple watch or a new cooking gadget for my kitchen, I want them all! For today’s post, I’m going to share some of my tried and true kitchen and tech tools and gadgets that I love. I’m also sharing some newer ones that I’m loving.

Rechargeable Hand Warmers – These have been a game changer for my poor circulation. I literally charge them up and put them in my jacket pockets for when I’m out on my morning walks. They’re great for skiing, hiking, camping and different outdoor sports activities. Great gift idea for outdoor enthusiasts too.

Laptop Stand for Desk and Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse – If you’re tired of looking down at your computer screen, then this combination is for you. I think I bought mine during the pandemic when we were all doing zoom calls. It’s nice to have the adjustable elevated laptop screen and definitely helps with the tech neck we’re all getting. I use it with a bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse. Of course I had to get the pink version.

Rechargeable Lighter – I bought these for Christmas stockings this year and had to get one for myself too. If you haven’t used one of these yet, I’m telling you, you’re missing out! I love having this for lighting my candles.

Veggie Spiral Tool – I bought mine during the pandemic when I was cooking more than usual. It’s fun to make healthier versions of pasta. I often use it to make zucchini noodles and we love them.

Keurig Single Cup – Yes, I have a built in coffee maker, and I love it. However, when I want a simple, no fuss cup of coffee I like using the single serve version of the Keurig. I like that you only put in the amount of water that you’re using so there’s no extra water hanging around inside the machine.

Self Heating Mug – I’m loving this affordable option of the self-heating mug. It keeps my coffee hot for 2-3 hours on a single charge. I gifted a few of these this holiday season and everyone tells me that they love theirs too. It comes in 3 color options. I have the black.

Instant Pot Air Fryer – I’ve always used a toaster over style air fryer, but recently treated myself to the basket style. I’m so glad I did! I bought the 6 quart size from this reputable brand. It’s been perfect for making all kinds of meals that are now a bit healthier because of this type of cooking method.

Zojirushi Mini Bread Maker – I had a bread machine when they first became popular wayyy back when. I’m talking about 20 years ago. That machine is long gone, but since I do love bread, I recently purchased this new one. I did lots of research before deciding which one to get. This one makes small 1 pound loaves which is perfect for my small household.
