Are you looking for nail polish that is chip resistant for an entire week? I’ve talked about CND Vinylux here on my blog and over on my Youtube channel in the past. I recently received a few PR samples of the polish and wanted to re-share my thoughts on the line. CND has been around for years. They make a variety of polish types, i.e. gel, Vinylux, etc.
I personally LOVE the look of gel nail polish but absolutely hate the process of getting it off my nails. It’s nice to have shiny nails that look freshly polished without chips. CND came out with their Vinylux line a few years back and I jumped right on it and bought up all the colors I could find. Read my first post about the line from 2013 here. And you can watch my first Vinylux video on Youtube here.
Fast forward to 2017 and I am still loving this type of polish. It is so easy to use. You get gorgeous chip resistant shiny nails that really do last for 7 days. And the best part is that you don’t need a light to cure the polish, nor do you need to soak in acetone to get the polish off. It comes right off with regular nail polish remover.
This polish is a simple 2 step system.
- Apply 2 thin coats of Vinylux Weekly Polish to clean nails.
- Finish with 1 layer of Vinylux Weekly Top Coat.
The polish cures really fast and has a beautiful shine that lasts all week. Some shades last a little better than others, but I’m not complaining since it’s so easy to redo my nails. It works great for pedicures and even on my artificial nails that I have these days. The polish is available in over 100 shades. You can purchase for $10.50 at Ulta, Beauty Brands and more. The polish is often on sale too!
