Fun in the Sun with Cabana Life

I know that the whole country is experiencing quite the heat wave. I’ve been taking extra precautions to protect my skin and my health while outdoors, which leads me to this blog post. Take Me To My Cabana is the theme for August and I love it. If given the choice, I’d park myself in a cabana by the pool from sun up to sun down with a good book and my favorite playlists softly playing in my Airpods. I might even sip on a pina colada while eating some light bites.

I recently added two new dresses to my collection that are easy to wear and look so stylish that I can even wear them out shopping, running errands or to even to dinner. The fabric is so soft and comfy that you won’t want to take them off. Bonus, the fabric resists most wrinkles, so it’s perfect for packing and taking on your travels.

The Napa Sleeveless Tiered Maxi Dress

 

I’m in love with this dress and could literally wear it every day! It’s a bright, pretty print. The dress is a maxi length, however, I am 5’2 and 125 lbs and I think the length is still perfect on me. The dress is made from their lighter weight Coverluxe material. It has a light pink fringe detail along the neckline and tier seams that add the perfect touch.  There’s a pom-pom tassel tie in the back which is a fun extra detail. They recommend sizing down for this dress. I’m actually wearing a size medium. It fits just fine, but I could have gotten a small and it would fit fine too.

The Charleston Paneled Maxi Dress

The Charleston pattern is one of my favorites from the brand. It’s a pretty blue and white paisley print. The Paneled Maxi dress features an A-line silhouette with a paneled skirt for a flattering and flowy fit. Whether you’re headed out for a beach day or date night, this style can double as a cover up or dress. I’ve worn mine running errands and out for dinner and received MANY compliments. I love the fit and find it to be flattering. Again, this one is a maxi length, but I find that it works just fine for me. I’m wearing this one in a medium too.

Napa Tie Waist Midi Dress

I’ve shared my Napa Midi Dress on my Instagram in the past, but I thought I’d share it here as well because it’s also perfect for beach days, cabana days, running errands, etc. I like the midi length of this dress as well as the tassel tie at the waist. It’s perfect to throw on over a swimsuit or you can dress it up. The dress has pockets, which is feature that I know a lot of ladies like. I’m wearing the small/medium size.
