Are you looking for the perfect matte palette? I’d heard about the Viseart Matte Neutral Palette for quite some time. Makeup artist James Vincent mentioned it again at The Makeup Show back in June, which made me know that I was buying it no matter what. I did buy it at the show because I was able to get it at the show special price of $60, rather than the full retail price of $80. Up until last week, the palette was still in it’s box in a bag in my closet (welcome to the life of a makeup hoarder). I don’t know what I was waiting for and why I hadn’t broken it out yet.
For those who haven’t heard of this palette, it is from Viseart Cosmetics (correct pronunciation is Viz-e-art). They make high performance and professional makeup. Viseart integrates natural and organic resources with modern technology in the production of their cosmetics. They carry eye palettes, lip palettes and more in their line.

The palette contains 12 matte shadows. All of the shades are neutral and can work for everyone. They consider it to be a “core” palette for every makeup kit (for professionals and the rest of us too). Not only can you use this palette on the eyes, but it can be used for brows and even contouring the face. The product is made from highly micronized pigments. This gives a smooth and even application of color that is easy to blend.

I have three of the viseart palettes- the nude matte one, Paris one and the sultry one. They are my favorite palettes. After having these any other palettes just seems blah compared to these. They are very pricey but well worth the money.
