Hi everyone, I’m Shalott from Shalittle and Stacie has been kind enough to let me have a guest blog spot on her blog this month! Over at Shalittle I share everything from beauty to lifestyle to subscription boxes so for my guest post I wanted to share with you one of my favorite types of posts…swatches! Today I’m sharing my swatches from the Anastasia Shadow Couture World Traveler palette.
You may know Anastasia Beverly Hills for their swoon-worthy brow products and celebrity endorsements like world-class makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic but let me tell you, these shadows are definitively something to write home about!
The limited-edition palette is available at Sephora, ULTA, and directly from Anastasia Beverly Hills and retails for $30. It includes 12 shades and a double-ended brush.
For my swatches I included two versions, one with the color applied directly to my skin (top) and the other with a white base (bottom). For my white I used Clown White from Make Up For Ever. Overall I’m a big fan of the variety included in this palette!
The colors included are:
- Soft Peach – Matte, flesh toned neutral.
- Spoiled – Warm peach with just a hint of micro glitter.
- Morocco – Matte sand with red undertones.
- Fudge – Deep chocolate brown matte.
5. Heirloom – Really shimmery deep purple.
6. Azure – Shimmery electric blue.
7. Bellini – Really light gold with a soft shimmer.
8. Intense Gaze – Golden pink.
9. Pink Champagne – Metallic dusty rose.
10. Metallic – Satin gold.
11. Chic – Shimmery pearl grey
12. Noir – micro-shimmery deep black
Overall I am super impressed with the quality of all of these shadows. I wore these over the weekend with some Too Faced Shadow Insurance underneath and they did not budge the entire day. I also really like the variety of the colors in this palette; there are enough to be able to do a neutral daytime look as well as some really cool intense dark, smokey looks. Extra bonus for having a good mix of matte and shimmery colors.
My only recommendation is that if you have fair skin (or extra extra fair skin like this girl!), be sure to use a white base to get the colors to really pop.
Thank you so much for reading my post, I really hope you enjoyed it! If you’re interested in checking out any more of my reviews, swatches, and other beauty posts, take a gander at my blog, shalittle.com. You can also follow me on Instagram @shalott to catch up with all my shenanigans.

So pretty! I am terrible at putting make up on everyday. I just get so lazy and I really need to knock it off! Maybe some of these products would help me feel motivated. :o)

You don’t have to wear a lot of makeup, just a little to accentuate your inner beauty! Stacie xo
