I recently received two products to review from Eden Allure. This line of products is based on Argan oil for cosmetic use. Their Argan oil is made in Morocco by women in the fair trade market. This means that when the company purchases their Argan oil the women of Morocco gain better access to health care and education and allows them to improve their standard of living.
The first product I tried was a bottle of the Eden Allure Pure Argan Oil. What is especially unique about this product is that it is unscented. This is one of the only companies that deodorizes their pure refined Argan oil to remove it’s nutty fragrance which some people find offensive. I personally don’t mind the fragrance in my hair products, but prefer to use unscented products on my face.
I’ve used products containing Argan oil in the past, but mostly in my hair. The literature that came with this product recommended it for use on the skin, hair and nails so I thought I’d give it a try on the dry areas of skin on my face. I applied it sparingly over most of my face, as a small amount of product goes a long way. It worked wonders! The product was absorbed into my skin immediately. It left my skin feeling soft. I was worried that using an oil on my face might cause breakouts or oily skin. That was far from the outcome that I’ve had. My skin loves this product and I will continue to use it for a long time.
The next product that I tried was the Eden Allure Beauty Bar. I keep it by my bathtub and have used it continually for the past few weeks. This bar really does leave my skin feeling moisturized and soft. The product that I was sent is the one pictured below. It is the Lavender fragranced bar. Lavender scents are not my personal preference. However, I do recommend this product if you like the scent. I know that most people do like it. Lavender is supposed to have relaxation effects. This bar is also offered in a grapefruit scent which I think I would personally prefer because I do like citrus type scents.

I have not used Argan oil yet but sounds like I need to. My skin is dryer than its ever been. I’m wondering if its not from sitting with Mom at the hospital. The air is so dry there.

I have tried Argan oil before in a salon product. I doubt there was very much Argan oil- probably mostly chemicals. I’d love to try this as I’m a curly haired girl and I need all the help I can get. 🙂

I just started using argan oil for both my face and hair and love them – will have to check out this brand – the bar soap sounds interesting since. I love using Bar soaps but most of them are very drying.

I prefer to use unscented products on my face too as I am kind of sensitive to smells. Definitely a must-try!

I always go with unscented products as well. I have multiple Argan oil products, and use at least one of them on my hair or face every single day.
