Do you want longer lashes? How about lashes that appear fuller than they really are? Welcome to my world! I’ve always wished I could have longer and thicker looking lashes. I tried lash extensions several years ago and LOVED them, but developed an allergic reaction to the glue. Ever since then, I’ve been on the hunt for products that will give me longer lashes. In my opinion, long lashes open the eyes and make you look more awake.
I recently purchased Benefit’s They’re Real Tinted Lash Primer. This product is designed to prime and define your lashes. It can be worn alone for a feathery look or layered with your favorite mascara for that wow factor. The product contains provitamin B5, which is supposed to keep lashes soft enough to apply a coat of mascara over it, even after six hours. I’ve used this primer with Benefit Roller Lash and Lancome Hypnose Drama. The results were the same.

Have you tried the Benefit Tinted Lash Primer? What did you think?

I’m surprised they made it in brown, but I wonder if that’s so you can see if it’s covered or not? I never would have bought this, but after reading your review and seeing your results, I’m definitely interested. My lashes are all different lengths with the ones in the middle being shorter than the surrounding ones, and maybe this would even everything out!

I’m not sure why. It’s better than white, so it can be worn alone. But I really think black would be more appealing to most. Go figure… Stacie xo

I’ve been wondering about this primer! I’m surprised they made it in brown, since their They’re Real mascara seems to mostly be sold in black. I really liked the It Cosmetics lash primer, being that it looks pretty good as a mascara on its own. Which one did you like better: It Cosmetics’ or Benefit’s?

I have a sample of this, but haven’t tested it out yet. I’m so going to reach for it the next time I do my makeup!

I need this in my life – I barely have eyelashes (truth!) and need all the help I can get to even see them in the mirror LOL. I’m actually reviewing Roller Lash tonight.

I just tried this primer out yesterday, and thought it was pretty good. I need to try it some more before I form a firm opinion on it….I don’t know if it lengthens as much as my other lash primers. But I LOVE that it’s brown — I don’t like white lash primers!

I agree, the brown is better than the white primer, however I really prefer black. This helped my lashes look better than on their own, but not nearly as good as the It Cosmetics primer mascara. Stacie xo

I always wish I had better lashes, it’s so frustrating! I’m going to think about purchasing this for use on weekends or special events. I don’t really need thick, full lashes for my everyday life.

Me too! I feel like great lashes means less eye makeup, which means a speedier time to get ready. Thanks for stopping by! Stacie xo
