A Holiday Gift Recommendation

Today I have a holiday gift recommendation for you from the technology category.  I’m totally excited about this new HP tablet that I purchased from the Microsoft Store. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had iPads and Apple devices for the past 6 years or so.  However when I saw this new tablet a few weeks ago and it’s price, I had to buy one for myself.  It’s one of the most affordable tablets on the market today at $99.  This particular one is only 7 inches and can easily fit into your purse making it easy to take it with you.

If you’re an Apple product user like myself then you know that you cannot view video that requires flash player on these devices.  Not a big deal most of the time.  But I prefer to be able to do everything on a single device.  This HP Stream does it all.  It’s  like a mini desktop computer.  It runs the new Windows 8.1, which I’m pretty challenged at using.  However, I’m beginning to understand it a little better now.  One of the great features that I must mention here is that this small tablet comes complete with the full version of Office.  How cool is that?!  I believe it’s included for one whole year.  There are many apps included and pre-loaded on the device as well with tons more that you can download for free and many others you can purchase for a fee.

I recommend this tablet for people of all ages.  You really can do so much on it, from typing Word documents to streaming videos.  Let me know what you think!
