Hi Friends! Happy Sunday! I’m not sure how it’s the last day of January already. The good new is that we’re about to enter my favorite month. It’s my birth month, all things hearts, the color pink and a few steps closer to spring (my favorite season). I’m already planning out my spring garden and another family vacation for some fun in the sun. Let me know what you’ve been up to lately because I’d love to know.
What I’ve been up to this week…
If you follow my Instagram, then you know that I’ve been attending one of my favorite events, The Makeup Show for the past few days. This show is usually held in cities across the country (actually the world), but due to the pandemic it is being held online for the second time. The previous show was in September 2020 and it was fantastic. I wasn’t able to attend all of the online sessions that I wanted during the September show due to a scheduling conflict, so I was thrilled that it was back again in this same format. I do love attending in person, however, there are certain perks to attending online as well. I will post about some of my favorite takeaways from the sessions here on my blog very soon.
Fashion Flash – January 31, 2021
My blogging friends and I have a new Fashion Flash newsletter to share with you. This week we’re hosted on Kristen’s site, The Culinary Cure. If you’re new here, the Fashion Flash is a group of women influencers who are all over 40 and blog about all topics ranging from beauty to healthy eating to exercise to home decor and so much more. It’s definitely worth it to take a peek at each week’s newsletter to see if there’s something that peeks your interest.
Learn how to eat well and to be well. The first chapter of How Healthy People Eat is filled with tips for healthy habits. The second chapter teaches how to use food as medicine. And in the third chapter you will learn how to create a culinary pharmacy in your own kitchen.
Be sure to check out the book to start off 2021 filled with health!
