Do you have any foodies on your holiday shopping list? I don’t consider myself to be a good cook in any way, shape or form. However, I like my kitchen gadgets and small appliances to assist me in preparing some tasty meals here and there. I really do love experimenting in the kitchen and have found some really good items that I think may interest you.
Universal Yums Snack Box
This first item is called the Universal Yum’s Holiday Box. This is perfect for people who like to try different foods or people who like to travel. The December box (pictured below) is filled with a variety of popular holiday snacks and treats sourced from 13 countries including Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Uruguay, Jordan, The Philippines, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Japan, Belgium and Poland. All boxes are complete with a guidebook full of trivia, games and much more
You can go to their website for more information on how to order a single box or a subscription plan for yourself or for someone on your gift-giving list. Boxes start as low as $13.75 a month for a box with 6 snacks to $35.75 for a box with 20+ snacks. These snack boxes are a fun and different gift, especially for those who are hard to shop for.
Milk Frother
Making your own coffee at home can seem boring, but not when you have your own milk frother. I love this easy to use little gadget. I’ve experimented with different types of milk to see which foams up the best. Of the ones that I tried, I’d say the vanilla oat milk foams and tastes the best to me. The almond milk was a fail as it didn’t foam at all. Fat free milk foams, but the taste is unexciting to me.
The device is easy to use. You simply fill to the line inside and turn on the frother. Pour hot or cold foam over your drink. You can even experiment with latte designs if you have the time or inclination. Cleanup is super easy, just wash and dry the inside.
Next I have 2 products from the brand Power XL. You may have seen products from this line while roaming through your local big box stores or flipping through the channels on your television. I’ve seen them both places!
PowerXL Air Fryer
I’ve been an air fryer fan for months now. This Power Air Fryer XL is next level to me. This one does so much more than I had intended. I thought I was going to use it to just heat up foods or make basic chicken and brussel sprouts meals. This model is more like an “all-in-one” type of cooker that is out of this world.
Here’s how their website describes the product – “The PowerXL Air Fryer Pro is a full multi-cooker that gives you all the crisp, juicy, delicious, healthier benefits of air frying with an added rotisserie and dehydrator. Just choose from 8 One-Touch Pre-Set Buttons to air fry extra crispy chicken fingers; air-fry rotisserie for savory pork roast, mouthwatering turkey breast, or authentic kebabs; and you can even use the dehydrator to make healthy dehydrated vegetables, herbs, fruit, and more—with no added sugar. Your food cooks on both the top and the bottom for that great crispy-fried taste and texture—without all the fat and calories!”
I plan to experiment more with my new PowerXL Air Fryer over the next few weeks to see what this countertop powerhouse can do.
PowerXL Indoor Grill
I find that grilling food is one of the fastest ways to make a healthy meal. I’m a fan of so many dishes that can be cooked on a grill. The cold winters don’t stop me from grilling with the Power Smokeless Grill. I’m impressed with how fast it makes perfectly grilled foods without the mess. Cleanup is so easy.
Here’s what the website says about the PowerXL Smokeless Grill – “Grill smarter, better & faster – any day of the year. Enjoy perfect, even grilling and searing indoors on a premium, die-cast aluminum surface with advanced nonstick coating. Food release is instant without added oil or fats required. The most delicate fish stays intact and the thickest sauces won’t stick or leave residue behind. You get the same BBQ taste, char-grilled flavor, and gorgeous grill marks on chicken, steaks, ribs, veggies & more – the possibilities are endless.”
Amazon is always an easy way to pick up these products. I have seen them at some big box stores as well. Do you have any of these kitchen products or have recommendations for gadgets that make your cooking life easier?
