It’s holiday party season! Are you looking for a light and refreshing cocktail to go along with your parties? I have a fun and festive white sangria recipe for you today that’s tasty and pretty at the same time. It’s light and refreshing to pair with all of the treats you’ll be serving up this holiday season. I think it pairs perfectly with a big cheese board and appetizers at an open house type of get-together.
For a pitcher
(Serves 4-6)
Ingredients:
1 bottle (25 oz.) White Wine (I used Pinot Grigio)
1 bottle (25 oz.) Sparking White Grape Juice
4 Apples- you can use a mix of granny smith and gala or even honeycrisp, sliced thin
1 ½ cups fresh cranberries
Extra apple slices and cranberries for garnishing.
6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Directions:
Add the chilled white wine and sparkling white grape juice to a large pitcher. Add in sliced apples and fresh cranberries. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. You can garnish with additional apple slices and cranberries, plus a sprig of fresh rosemary.
For a single drink
Serves 1
Ingredients:
3 oz. white wine
3 oz. sparkling white grape juice
3-4 thin sliced apple slices – granny smith, gala, or honeycrisp are our favorite
4-5 fresh cranberries
A sprig of fresh rosemary
Directions:
Chill all ingredients beforehand. In your glass, add sparkling white grape juice, apple slices, cranberries, and rosemary. Fill the glass the rest of the way with white wine. Enjoy! I like my sangria poured over ice because I tend to like my beverages extra cold. In addition, you can garnish with different fruits if you prefer.
