What I Watch on TV

I thought it would be fun to share with you What I Watch on TV.  I actually watch very little television these days.  I’m so behind on the shows that I record on the dvr in my house.  I’m lucky if I find the time to watch the news so I can see what’s happening in the world.  There are several shows that my daughter and I record and try to watch together each week.  Here are some my favorites:

Real Housewives:  I watch the Ladies of OC, New Jersey, Beverly Hills and New York.  I used to faithfully watch each episode, but don’t really worry if I miss a week or two lately.  It’s so interesting to me that women who don’t get along with one another still choose to hang out together.

HGTV:  I LOVE watching every single show on the Home and Garden channel.  I love getting ideas on decorating, remodeling, etc.  I enjoy watching people shop for new homes in different parts of the country as well as different parts of the world.

Dateline:  I enjoy watching news type shows, particularly the investigative types.  My husband makes fun of me because they can just get all of the information done in ten minutes, yet it takes an entire hour for them to present it in an hour long program.

Ellen:  We LOVE watching Ellen.  She is just such a happy and giving person that we find her very enjoyable to watch.  My daughter tried to get tickets to the Ellen Show for several years.  About two weeks ago, the Ellen Show called on my cell phone and said we got tickets!!  We’re so excited to go!!!!  We’ll be flying out to LA for a fun girls trip with a stop to watch a filming of the Ellen Show at the end.

Kardashians:  We watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians and all of the other shows that they do.  We find it interesting to see how they live their lives.  No judging.  LOL!

That’s about it…  Pathetic I know.  If and when I find some extra time, I try to watch my YouTube subscriptions and read my favorite blogs.  What shows am I missing out on that you’d recommend to me?
