I’m going with the most popular topic being blogged about today for today’s post. Like most women in America, my eyes were glued to the television last night watching The Bachelor Finale. I didn’t watch the entire season. I read about most of the season on the People website each week. That helped me to know what was going on by reading the recaps rather than sitting and watching each and every episode. I started watching the actual Bachelor for the last four actual episodes or so.
Of all the girls on the show Whitney was my favorite. She seemed so down to earth and willing to move to Iowa for her man. I wasn’t fond of Becca at all. I felt like she wanted to say the things that Chris wanted to hear so that he would pick her. When Chris told Becca that he thought she wasn’t ready and sent her home I was not surprised at all. I was glad that he made his decision with his heart and his head by choosing to give his final rose to Whitney. I wish them only love, health and happiness for many years to come. I love fairy tales and love stories and think this one had the perfect happy ending!

I agree. I wasn’t surprised by his choice at all. Best wishes to them.

I liked Becca a lot, but knew she wasn’t ready and I think she handled it all in a classy way, especially on After the Final Rose. She said she loved so many things about him and loves him, but wasn’t “in love” with him. I liked that Whitney knew that she knew and she was ready for all that entails. Hope they are one of the few couples who make it from that show. Can’t wait to see if they have their wedding in the barn too!
