I’m thankful for all of the people I have been blessed with in my life!
Yesterday was a wonderful day. I got up early to get our Thanksgiving meal prepared while everyone else slept in. We watched some of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Around noon we enjoyed our meal followed by getting ready for the Dallas Cowboy’s football game. The Cowboys won, so of course that made the day even better. After the game we enjoyed round two of the Thanksgiving meal as well as pie and ice cream. Some of us watched movies and others played card games.
Just being together is what Thanksgiving is about at our house. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and now a Happy Black Friday! I don’t partake in the madness of Black Friday shopping. I’m currently at Starbucks waiting for the temperature to go up a few degrees so that I can go walk off yesterday’s indulgences.

Stacie – if your kids weren’t stunningly beautiful and the spitting image of you, I would think you adopted them. I guess you started when you were 12 as there is NOW WAY you could have kids in their 20’s! Thanks for sharing some of your day. I only partake in the madness of Black Friday shopping online.
