Super Sunday

Happy Super Sunday!  I had a busy week.  I was at my son’s golf tournament for two days.  That started the week off with feeling totally “out of the loop” and feeling like I had a lot to catch up on.  I was behind on blog posts and had some catching up to do, along with video editing.  I’m now going to catch up on replying to comments on my videos and posts.  Saturday was a gardening day for me.  I planted my very first garden!  I’m planning to do a post on that this week so I won’t spoil it for you now.

I was very fortunate to be invited to an women’s event on Thursday evening hosted by my husband’s financial planner.  They had Kendra Scott as the guest speaker (and we got to shop too, of course, with a percentage of the proceeds going to charity).  You ladies all know who she is, I’m sure.  Let me just tell you that Kendra Scott is one absolutely down to earth and beautiful lady who is also quite funny.  She told us about her story.  She is such an inspiration.  I’d like to be one tenth of what she is when I grow up!  She had many inspirational quotes throughout her presentation.  One of them that stuck with me is this:
