Silent Sunday #27

Thanks for joining me for Silent Sunday #27!  As you can imagine, I’ve been unpacking boxes and trying to get things organized.  My husband’s away on a long business trip and I’d love to have as much done before he gets back so that he can just relax when he gets home.  It’s such a challenge for me because I look at the boxes and don’t know where to put things, so I just do something else.

I’ve been in the house almost every single day this week waiting for all types of service people (phone, cable, shutter installation, appliance guys, handyman, etc).  I did finally get out for a few hours on Friday and Saturday and did some fun shopping.  I also received some of my monthly subscription boxes in the mail with some fun stuff that I’ll start sharing this week.

This is the tile backsplash in the master bath. I had to take a picture so that I could find towels in the right colors to match.

We bought a gorgeous dining room table a few weeks ago. My husband thinks we need to use the old dining room chairs. I don’t agree, so I took pictures of some better options at World Market. I might just have to surprise him…

The master closet project… I had fluorescent lights put into the closet and also had another bar added along the top to give us more space to hang things. It will be great when I get everything organized. I hate clutter.
