I recently received a sampling of products from Pixi by Petra. Pixi was developed and founded by Petra Strand and inspired by makeup-artistry products. I’ve used a few products from this line through the years. As a matter of fact, the Mattelustre Lipstick is an all time favorite of mine. I’ve recently heard a lot of really good reviews from others and had been meaning to pick up some items. I still need to try the Glow Tonic because I hear that it’s amazing for the skin and has won all kinds of awards.

Let’s talk about the products that I did receive…
- The Endless Silky Eye Pen – I received the color called Graphic Greige. I honestly never think to change up the color of my eye liner and was pleasantly surprised by this shade. I use it to tight line as well as on the upper lash line. It’s a nice neutral color that complements all of the neutral looks that I wear daily. The eye liner stays in place all day until I remove it. Retail $12
- Next I tried the Endless Brow Gel Pen in Medium. This formula works great for filling in my brows. It’s a unique gel formula that easily glides on. It’s waterproof too and stays put all day long on me. Retail $11
- The Ripe Raspberry Shea Butter Lip Balm is a gorgeous shade for adding a pop of color. I love that I can wear this very light and sheer or add layers to build it up. It’s very moisturizing and is a great option when you want a tinted balm that has good pigmentation. Retail $8.
- Lengthy Fiber Mascara – This mascara has fibers in it that attach to the lashes for a lash extension look. I wanted this mascara to work for me so bad, but unfortunately it did nothing at all for my lashes in terms of appearance. I actually had to use another mascara on top of it to achieve a nice look. Retail $16
I’m wearing all four of the products shown for my everyday minimal makeup look.
Verdict: I’m head over heels in love with the Endless Silky Eye Pen, Endless Brow Gel Pen and Shea Butter lip balm. The Endless products really are endless, as the name implies. They stuck with me all day and had to be intentionally removed with makeup remover. I love that the tinted lip balm is highly pigmented and can be layered for times when that extra pop of color is wanted. As I mentioned above, the mascara just didn’t give my lashes the wow factor that I was expecting with the fibers in the formula.
I recommend trying Pixi products when you have a chance, especially when you’re looking for eye and brow products that stay put all day. Pixi products can be purchased at Target and other stores online. They’re high quality, very affordable and out-perform many high end department store brands.
Have you tried Pixi by Petra products? If so, which are your favorites?
