Welcome to my very first Optimistic Monday party!!
This will be my regular Optimistic Monday post that I post each week. However, if you have a blog and want to do a similar post and link up below, I’d love to have you! I love reading about other people’s goals for the week and if they accomplish them. So, even if you don’t write a blog, please visit the other blog party posts and see what’s going on with the others.
Goals from last week:
1. Walk 3-4 times at least 3 miles each
I actually had my walking buddy this week. Yay! We had our walks, Starbucks and chats.
10/29/12 3.41 miles, 10/30//12 3.21 miles, 10/31/12 3.18 miles, 11/2/12 3.14 miles
2. Film at least 3 Youtube videos, including a few reviews
Yes, I was able to get 3 videos up this week.
3. 4-5 Blog posts, including a few beauty product reviews
Yes, I posted on my blog 5 times this week.
4. Make 2 of the amazing oatmeal recipes I saved from Pinterest last week
I only made one of the recipes this week. It was the Cherry Oatmeal cookies. They were fabulous! The problem with baking (for me) is that I want to eat and eat… So, I packed a bunch of cookies and brought them to my daughter at college. I guess I need to start baking things that I don’t like so I won’t eat them. I also made some simple Glazed Pork Chops for the family one night from a Pinterest recipe. I think I am getting a little bit addicted to Pinterest.

Goals for this week:
1. Try to figure out how to do the link up party for this post… Hopefully I figured it out before posting this on Monday morning.
2. Walk 3 times
3. Cook or bake something new.
4. Start organizing my thoughts on how to set something up to reach out to cancer patients and others who are ill. I want to do some sort of system where people can make cards, send cards, etc. to those who are in need of a smile. I will figure it out soon.
5. Do some research on ways to improve my blog, find my tribe, etc.
