I don’t know about you, but I seem to be an online shopping fool while quarantining at home. I think I’ve purchased products more online than I do during the holidays. I’m calling it retail therapy. For today’s post I thought I’d share what I’m calling my “quarantine beauty haul.” These are products that I’ve purchased over the past month or so. Let me know if you want to know more about any of the products that I’ve purchased.
I purchased another one of my favorite foundations, the UV Expert Mineral CC Cream SPF 50 from Lancome. This is one of tried and true holy grail foundation types of products. It gives a nice dewy finish and has a high spf factor with physical sunscreen protection.
Clinique iD Dramatically Different Base and Clinique iD Active Cartridge Concentrate – This is a new and rather unique product that I thought I’d try. You choose a base product and a concentrate. The two products are combined into one to give you a personalized treatment. I like bb creams for their light coverage and the way they even out my skin. I’m also happy to try the concentrate that I chose which is supposed to help correct uneven skin texture.
I’m loving the Nude Plumping Lip Glace from Nudestix. It has a minty sensation on the lips. This shade 04 is a beautiful natural lip color that makes the lips look better. I love the packaging too!
Every year I purchase their Sun Safety Kit. This year’s kit is made up of 14 products to keep one safe in the sun. There is one full size product and the rest are nice sample sizes. There are some fantastic spf products in this kit inside a pretty lavender colored bag. One of my favorite things about this annual kit is that $25 is donated to skin cancer research for each kit sold.
I decided to try the Sobel Skin Rx 30% Glycolic Acid Peel without really knowing about the brand. I did some research and thought this would be a great product to help with my anti-aging skincare routine. So far, so good.
I purchased a box of the Revlon Total Hair Color so I’ll have it when I’m ready to cover my roots. You may recall that I worked with Revlon on a campaign about this vegan, clean beauty hair color kit. With the exception of a few gray hairs popping up around my face, the rest of my hair is still vibrant and shiny.
I bought the Milk Anti-Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment to keep frizz at bay on the humid rainy days. It’s a fantastic product recommended by my hair salon.
After searching for weeks, I finally found some hand sanitizer that was in stock. I ordered the Hempz Triple Moisture Hand Sanitizer. This stuff smells delightful and the fact that it moisturizes and kills germs is a huge bonus. The scent is grapefruit and peach and so refreshing. As of right now it’s in stock. However, if it’s out of stock, keep circling back to see if it’s restocked.
My poor fingernails have been suffering since I can no longer get tho the salon. I’m so uncoordinated when it comes to doing my own nails so I thought I’d give dipping powder a try. I bought the Dipping Powder Nails Starter Set from AVVA and I started using it just yesterday. It’s actually quite easy to do and my nails actually look pretty good. It did take longer than I expected for this particular set to come in the mail. There are so many out there to choose from. During my research I thought the starter sets from KISS and Latorice also looked good and had good reviews.
I love my mauvy pink lipsticks are picked out one of the newer formulas from Smashbox. It’s the Always On Cream to Matte in the color Promoted. It’s beautiful! I hope to have somewhere to wear it some day soon.
Lastly, I picked up the Brilliant Eye Brightener from Thrive Causmetics in the shade Emma. It’s a beautiful copper shimmer that works nicely all over my lids. This product is described as “powered by ring light technology to diffuse light and define features, Brilliant Eye Brightener highlights, brightens and opens the eyes, providing an instant eye lift.” Who could resist that?!
Cleaning our makeup brushes is a must. The Ulta Solid Brush Cleanser makes the job a little easier and more efficient for me.
Have you been shopping online while quarantining at home too? If so, let me know what products you picked up.

Haha, I second you! I have shopped more during quarantine as well but I don’t mind it because I got some self-care time due to lockdown!
