Laura Mercier Loose Mineral Powder (SPF 15) – My color is Real Sand. I have been using this foundation consistently for nearly 2 years. It is a finely milled mineral powder that can be worn alone as foundation or over liquid foundation to set it. This oil free powder blends perfectly into the skin giving a flawless medium coverage. I use the Sigma Round Top Kabuki (F82) to apply this foundation. My dermatologist recommends mineral foundation for my rosacea prone skin. $38 for .34 oz, which lasts for many months.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Foundation (SPF 15)- My color is 260 Bisque (N). I first saw this foundation while watching QVC. I was so impressed with what it did for the models that I ran to check it out in person. This foundation leaves a velvety matte finish. It provides medium coverage for me. I do not use a powder over this one. It is supposed to last for 24 hours, but who wears their foundation for 24 hours? $44 for 1 oz.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation – My color is 4.5. This foundation stays true to it’s name, in that you are provided with a flawless finish without feeling like you have any makeup on your face. I use the Urban Decay Good Karma Optical Blurring Brush ($24) to apply this lightweight light to medium coverage foundation. This one is oil free, paraben free and fragrance free. $38 for 1 oz.
Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup (SPF 15) – My color is 5.5. This is my newest foundation. It is a very unique formula. The website says it is “an ultra-fine oil pigment suspension.” The foundation comes in a bottle with a dropper. I put several drops into my hand and then use my fingers to apply to the face by gently rubbing it in. The coverage and feel to this foundation are so unique. I wear this alone or with the Laura Mercier Powder (above) over it as it can be used as a primer when desired. $62 for 1 oz.

I have been dying to try the Laura Mercier foundation. I am going to try to use up some of the foundations I have now and then I can justify getting that one.
Love your blog – newest follower from the hop!
