Another British invasion is happening exclusively at Ulta stores in the USA as well as online. I’m so excited that they decided to carry this UK favorite brand here in the States. And I’m even happier that they chose Ulta as their store to carry it in since it’s just right down the road from my house. The entire line is very affordable. Pricing ranges from $6.99 – $19.99.
Models Own has over 650 products in their line. They’re know for putting color back into cosmetics. They want you to experiment with makeup and fall in love with different looks.
I received a few samples from Model’s Own that I want to share with you here today.
My favorite so far is this beautiful Luxestick Velvet Lipstick in the color Whisper. It’s a gorgeous pink shade that has already earned a spot on my favorites list. It feels creamy and smooth on my lips despite the fact that it’s labeled as a matte. The packaging is lightweight, yet the lipstick feels substantial in my hand. I like the magnetized closure as well. Retails for $8.99
As we come closer to summer weather I cannot live without my bronzer to make me look like I’ve spent time outdoors. The bronzer that I sampled is the Sculpt and Glow Contouring Powder in Deep Tan. I love the embossed design of this product. It sort of reminds me of the sand on the beach being freshly raked. I’ve mostly been using this matte bronzing powder as a contour powder. It goes on smooth and blends out nicely. There’s nothing orangey about this beautiful bronze color. Retails for $11.99
The Rockstar Eyeshadow Palette features 10 different eyeshadow shades with a double-sided brush and large mirror. Most of these colors are a bit out of my personal comfort zone, however, I look forward to using some of the brighter shades as liner. If you’re more bold than I am then you will love this palette. There are six different eyeshadow palettes in this collection that are sure to please everyone. Retails for $17.99
Lastly, I received an I-Definer Kohl Pencil Eyeliner in Black Onyx. This is a waterproof eyeliner that I love for lining my tight line and upper lash line. It glides on smoothly and stays in place all day for me. Retails for $7.99.
I was on the Ulta website and noticed that the entire line is on sale now (April 11, 2017).

I have only tried a couple of things from Models Own that I received in ipsy bags in the past. How exciting that they’ll be at Ulta! I love the look of the lipstick, and the shades in the shadow palette are such an unusual pairing – love it
